JAMMU, Feb 13: Police in Jammu’s Sidhra area claimed today they have arrested an accused who was evading his arrest for the past 8 years.
Abdul Latief of Maitra, Ramban, was wanted in case FIR number 57/2017 registered at Police Station Nagrota under section 381 of the RPC but he was constantly evading his arrest, said a police official.
He was arrested today by a team of Police Post Sidhra, he said, adding that the accused will now be presented before the magistrate to decide the future course of action.
