ACC Srinagar drubs Karnataka A-Division by 150 runs

JAMMU, Jan 10: Riding on a splendid century (108) by Owais Shah and power-packed 70 runs by Manzoor Pandav, Amateur Cricket Club (ACC) Srinagar thrashed Karnataka A-Division by a huge margin of 150 runs in a match of the exposure tour at Bangalore, today.
The exposure tour for its budding and experienced players has been organized by Amateur Cricket Club, Srinagar, under the guidance of coach, Sunil Joshi, former Test Cricket.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, ACC scored a decent total of 165 runs in the stipulated 40 overs. Owais Shah scored brilliant century, while Pandav contributed quick-fire 70 runs.
In reply, Karnataka A-Division team bundled out for a paltry total of 115 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 150 runs. None of the Karnataka batsmen was comfortable against the quality bowling attack of ACC, as almost all the bowlers bowled with nagging line and teasing length. Speedster Umar Nazir was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 important wickets, while Imtiyaz Ganie claimed 2 wickets.
