JAMMU, Feb 27: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved extension of deputation tenure of Rajesh Kumar, Additional Director General, CRPF, for a period of one year beyond March 18, 2025.

The extension has been granted in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said today.
Kumar is an IPS officer of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre (now AGMUT) of 1995 batch.
The ACC has approved the proposal of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for extension in deputation of the IPS officer.
