Jammu, Jan 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday conducted searches in connection with alleged irregularities in the selection process in the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
The ACB spokesman said that in connection with the investigation, ACB Central conducted searches in the residence, office premises and Government Quarters of the accused persons at six different locations across the UT of J&K after obtaining the Search Warrants from the Court of law.
The case was registered by ACB in irregularities committed in the selection process of Fireman/Fireman Drivers in the Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Department.
During searches various electronic gadgets and other incriminating documents were seized, said the spokesman.
He added that further investigation of the case is in progress.
