JAMMU, Mar 9: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in collaboration with Vidyarthi CEVA Educational Trust and Students’ Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL), organized a public reception programme at Jammu Convention Centre for delegates of Students’ Experience in Regional Understanding (SERU)-National Integration Yatra 2026.
The programme was graced by Shruti Awasthi, Regional Director of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) as chief guest, Ashish Chouhan, ABVP National organizing secretary as special guest while the programme was chaired by Meenakshi Keelam, former Registrar of University of Jammu.
During the programme, SERU Coordinator presented an overview of the National Integration Yatra 2026.
Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Chairperson of the programme, emphasized the importance of youth participation in strengthening national unity and cultural understanding.
Shruti Awasthi noted that such programmes provide young students with an opportunity to experience India’s rich cultural heritage.
Ashish Chouhan emphasized that initiatives like SERU play a significant role in strengthening national unity among youth.
The programme was attended by Ajay Sharma, State president of ABVP J&K, Sannak Shrivats, State secretary ABVP J&K, Dorjay Namgyal, SERU Coordinator and Anil Padha, chairman of Vidyarthi CEVA Educational Trust along with academicians and students.
