JAMMU, Dec 24: Dr Ajay Sharma (Udhampur) and Sannak Shrivats (Jammu) have been re-elected as State President and State Secretary, respectively of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir.
Election procedure for the posts was successfully completed today and the results were announced at the state office of ABVP in Jammu.
Dr Ajay Sharma and Sannak Shrivats have been re-elected for the session 2025-26.
While announcing the results, the Election Officer, Ishwar Shard said that both the office bearers will assume their responsibility during the 61st ABVP State Conference scheduled to be held on 27, 28 and 29 December in Kathua district.
Dr Ajay Sharma hails originally from Udhampur. He completed his Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics. Presently, he is serving as Senior Professor of Mathematics in Government Women College Udhampur. He has been associated with ABVP since 2015. He has earlier served as City President, District Incharge, State Vice-President of Jammu Kashmir.
Sannak Shrivats hails originally from Billawar in Kathua District and is in contact with ABVP since 2018. He completed his B A from GDC Billawar and is currently pursuing LLB from Jammu University. He has earlier served as State Joint Secretary for two years.
