ABVP delegation meets DM, submits memorandum

REASI, Oct 9: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Reasi, led by State Secretary Sannak Shrivats, met with District Magistrate Reasi and submitted a memorandum of demands pertaining to the development and welfare of students in Reasi district.
The delegation highlighted various issues affecting students, including faculty shortage, lack of infrastructure, and inadequate facilities in educational institutions. ABVP demanded immediate action to address these challenges and ensure a conducive learning environment for students.
The key demands include permanent Principal for GDC Reasi and Polytechnical college, adequate number of professors in Government degree colleges, provision of Science and Medical labs, digital infrastructure, inclusion of Dogri subject, and expansion of Commerce subject options. ABVP also demanded construction of footpaths, removal of dumping points, and regulation of unauthorized vendors near educational institutions.
District Convener Harsh Dev Singh and City Secretary Raman Thakur were also part of the delegation.
