RAMBAN, Mar 26: Khari Police arrested an absconding thief, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Post Khari led by PSI Sweet Singh under the supervision of SHO Banihal Inspector Naeem Ul Haq, SDPO Banihal Nisar Ahmed Khoja and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma conducted raid and arrested an absconding thief, who was at large since the registration of the case against him.
The accused was identified as Nawaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Hameed Najar, a resident of Herman District Shopian.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 201/2021 under Section 379 IPC with Police Station Banihal.
The arrested absconder was produced in the Court of law for judicial determination.
