JAMMU, Mar 6: Miran Sahib Police arrested a rape accused, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib arrested a rape accused, who was at large from the past one year.
The arrested person has been identified as Nirmal Kumar, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Sunderpur Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 97/2020 under Section 376 IPC with Police Station Miran Sahib.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Aijaz Wani made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
