JAMMU, Oct 6: Janipur Police have apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for the past several years in a case registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal, resident of House Number 91, Khatikan Talab, Jammu. He was wanted in FIR Number 36/2017 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act.
According to police, the accused had been on the run since 2017. Acting on specific inputs, a dedicated team from Janipur Police launched an extensive manhunt that culminated in his arrest.
