RAJOURI, Apr 7: A Manjakote Police party in district Rajouri has arrested an absconder from Hoshiarpur area of Punjab.
The arrested absconder has been identified as Bashir Ahmed, son of Abdul Ghani, a resident of village Ghunthal, in Tehsil Surankote of district Poonch. A general warrant of arrest was also issued against him by a local court.
A team from Manjakote Police Station, under the supervision of SHO Manjakote and SDPO Manjakote Sub Division nabbed the absconding accused from Hoshiarpur area of Punjab.
Notably, the apprehended accused had been evading his arrest since more than a decade and a general warrant of arrest U/Ss 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Court in 2012 in a case FIR No. 53/2010 U/S 379 RPC The absconder shall now be produced in the court of law.
