JAMMU, Mar 17: Chinore police nabbed an absconder from Bakshi Nagar area, who was evading his arrest for the past several years.
As per police sources, police team from Chinore police post conducted a raid in Bakshi Nagar area and arrested an absconder, who was at large for the past several years.
The accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Gopal Dass of Jeewan Nagar, Digiana.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 114/2005 under Section 279, 337 and 338 RPC with police station Domana and warrant under 512 CrPC was also issued against the accused by Special Municipal Mobile Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Jammu.
Further investigation is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Chinore SI Deepak Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar, SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
