JAMMU, Feb 25: Bus Stand Police has arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last over 7 years.
“Vikas Bharti alias Tuti, son of Sankar Chand and resident of Jandar Kallan (R S Pura) was absconding in a case FIR Number 15/2017 u/s 307/201/34 IPC 4/25 arms Act of Police Station Bus Stand,” a police spokesman said.
He said the absconder was arrested by team of Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Bus Stand under the close supervision of SP City North Jammu and SDPO North Jammu. Following arrest, the absconder was produced before the court of law.
