DODA, Feb 15: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past several years lands in the net of Thathri police.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Thathri Police Station conducted raid in Shamdali Jora area and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2014.
The accused has been identified as Ranjit Singh, son of Musaddi Ram of Boliyian Tehsil Chiralla.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 96/14 under Section 435, 427 and 34 RPC with Police Station Thathri. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stand issued against him by the court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Sunil Kumar Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
