POONCH, Apr 24: The police claimed to have arrested a wanted accused after a long period of nine years in Mendhar area.
Official sources said that Mendhar Police party, under the supervision of SDPO today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since 2012. Identified as Mohd Azam, son of Mohd Hussain from Ucchad village, he was wanted by Mendhar police in a case FIR No. 175/2012 U/S 452,323,425 RPC and Case FIR No. 168/2017 U/S 498-A, 109 RPC.
