DODA, Dec 10: Police here today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since the last 3 years.
Giving details in this regard, Doda Police said that the absconder Mohd Hussain, son of Ghulam Qadir, resident of Bhartal, Batote, tehsil and district Ramban was involved in bovine smuggling case of FIR No.161/2021 registered Under Section 188 IPC, 11 PC Act at Police Station Doda.
After completion of investigation, Challan was produced in the Court.
The accused was declared as an absconder and warrant of arrest was issued against him by the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Doda.
On the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta, a Police team was constituted with cops from Police Station Doda which was led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO Police Station Doda.
The team made hectic efforts and arrested the absconder from peripheral area of Doda and produced him before the Court.
