RAJOURI, Dec 7: The police arrested a wanted accused, who was evading arrest from Khawas area of district Rajouri for the last over ten years.
The accused, identified as Mohd Altaf, son of Ghulam Mohd, resident of Gundha, in Khawas was wanted in FIR No. 72/2015 under sections 324, 452, 336, 323, 147 RPC of Police Station Budhal, Rajouri.
The accused had been on the run since 2015 to avoid arrest, following which a warrant under Section 512 Cr.PC was issued by the Court at Budhal. With reliable inputs, the police successfully traced and apprehended him last night.
