KATHUA, Nov 29: Police in Kathua district today claimed they have arrested an individual who had been evading his arrest in an NDPS case for the past two years.
One Bhag Hussain of Maggar Khad, Jagatpur, Tehsil and District Kathua, was wanted in case FIR number 30/2023 registered under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Rajbagh but the accused had been constantly evading his arrest by frequently changing his locations, a police official said.
Today, a team of Police Station Rajbagh, led by SHO concerned, Inspector Ajay Chib succeeded in apprehending the accused following a specific tip off, he said.
After arrest, the accused was produced before the competent court of law for deciding the future course of action, he added.
