JAMMU, Sept 19: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in Miran Sahib area today claimed they have arrested an individual, who was evading his arrest in a criminal case for the past 15 years.
Harjinder Singh of Ward number 1, Simbal Camp, RS Pura, was wanted in case FIR number 134/2009 under sections 341, 232 IPC, and 4/25 Arms Act, registered at Police Station Miran Sahib, a police official said.
According to him, an arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC was also issued against him.
He said the warrant was executed today with the arrest of the accused by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib, led by SHO concerned, Inspector Azaad Manhas.
Post arrest, the accused was produced before the court of law for deciding the future course of action.
