JAMMU, June 3: Police in Jammu’s Bagh-e-Bahu area today claimed they have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest in a case registered in 2008 for the past several years.
Gharu Ram of New Bahu Fort, Jammu, who had been evading trial for the past several years in a case registered under FIR number 54/2008 was arrested today, a police official said.
He said a non-bailable warrant had also been issued against the accused individual by the court of Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu.
“After arrest, the accused was produced before the court to decide the future course of action,” added the police official.
