JAMMU, July 18: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last over four years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Satwari Police Station led by SHO Hassan Kamaal conducted raid at New Plot and arrested the absconder, who has been identified as Sita Ram, son of Harbant Singh of Honey Kote, Mahore, district Reasi.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Satwari Police Station under FIR number 17/2009 under Section 381 RPC.
The accused was produced in the Court of Law and was sent to District Jail.
