JAMMU, Dec 11: Janipur police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Janipur Police Station apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Bari Ram, a resident of Muthi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 130/16 under Section 379 and 34 RPC with Police Station Janipur. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against the absconder.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Janipur SI Bimal Indu made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jammu Rajpaul Singh and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
