JAMMU, Mar 31: Gangyal Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma conducted raid and apprehended an absconder from Kathua, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Singu Ram, son of Anant Ram, Ward Number 11 District Kathua.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 59/2012 under Sections 279, 337 and 338 RPC with Police Station Gangyal.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
