KATHUA, Apr 22: Billawar police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Billawar Police Station led by SHO Joginder Singh Chib conducted raid and apprehended an absconder from Macheedi area, who was at large since long.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Noorani, son of Lal Din of Ward Number 5 Athialta Morha Kathua Tehsil Mahanpur.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 33/2020 under section 9/51(1-a) Wild Life Protection Act and 3/25 Arms Act.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
