JAMMU, May 22: A delegation of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) led by its State president, Rattan Sharma met Director School Education Jammu and discussed the conduct of DPCs of district cadre posts, annual transfer drive of teachers which is pending from the last two years and regularisation of in-charge teachers pending since 2018.
The delegation members said that due to delay in DPC of district Cadre posts, regularization of more than 150 Laboratory Assistants of various districts of Jammu division, who were promoted as incharge teachers in the year 2018 is still pending.
They also expressed concern over the delay in annual transfer drive pending since couple of years.
“The annual transfer drive, meant for balancing staff deployment and addressing personal and professional needs of teachers, has not been conducted for the last two years,” the delegation stated.
After giving patient hearing to the delegation members, the Director School Education Jammu assured to conduct DPC of district cadre posts next month.
Regarding ATD (Annual Transfer Drive), the Director apprised the members that transfer drive will be started only after the directions of Education Minister, Sakina Ittoo.
Other members of the delegation were Rahul Sharma, State joint secretary; Rakesh, State executive member; Ved, general secretary District Jammu; Tarsem, Media Incharge District Jammu and Vipan.
