Srinagar, Feb 5: JKSEWWA Chairperson, President of JKICDSSU Abida War and President of ASMEA, AEJAC Jagmeet Kour today met the Minister for Health, Education, and Social Welfare, Sakina Masood.
The leadership of JKSEWWA, JKICDSSU, ASMEA and AEJAC met the Minister at her residence and submitted a memorandum addressing various issues affecting employees in different departments.
The leaders discussed the long-pending demand of ICDS Supervisors for an amendment in the Service Recruitment Rules (Gazetted & Non-Gazetted) in the Social Welfare Department,
They said that the issue has negatively impacted thousands of supervisors for decades.
They also highlighted the need for an enhancement in the honorarium of AWWs/AWHs from the UT share, taking this into consideration during the budget provisions, along with other issues concerning AWWs/AWHs.
In addition, the delegation raised concerns about the issues of minority employees, private university permissions, NT KGBV issues, VTs, H&NMs, Health workers/ASHA workers, contingent paid employees, and watch and ward issues.
