JAMMU, June 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, as the Nodal Officer for overseeing arrangements during the holy month of Muharram-2025.
The officer has been tasked with closely monitoring and liaising with all concerned agencies involved in the arrangements of Muharram-2025 across the Union Territory.
“It is hereby ordered that Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, IAS (AGMUT: 2012), Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department shall be the Nodal Officer for overseeing inter-departmental coordination during the holy month of Muharram-2025,” read an order issued by M Raju, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
“The officer shall closely monitor and liaise with all concerned agencies involved in the arrangements of Muharram-2025 across the Union Territory,” the order further said.
