JAMMU, Nov 1: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir unit today held silent protest demonstration from Indira Chowk to Press Club Jammu for rehabilitation and compensation to those who were killed in 1984 Sikh genocide all over India.
A press release issued here said despite lapse of over 32 years Sikh families are still crying for justice but Congress and BJP were shielding the culprits involved in Anti Sikh Riots.
Aam Aadmi Party Jammu demanded immediate arrest of those big guns who were involved in these violent act against the particular community and also demanded compensation package for the victims of that genocide.
Government of India ordered to set up many commissions of inquiries from time to time but in vain and it is the only Aam Aadmi Party Government who gave Rs 5 lakh compensation to each family in Delhi last year.
Those who Participated in protest were senior leaders Parvinder Singh, Bilal Khan, Ravinder Singh, Aman Singh, Balbir Singh and Rajkumar Nischal.
