JAMMU, Apr 15: To remember General Zorawar Singh, J&K Ex-Services League organized a function where rich tributes were paid to the great soldier.
The function was attended by Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, president of the J&K Ex-Services League, members of the civil society, veterans led by Brig R S Langeh, Director Sainik Welfare, J&K Govt., Chief Conservator Forest, O P Vidyarthi and large number of veterans.
Speaker on the occasion threw light on life history of General Zorawar Singh who helped Maharaja Gulab Singh to establish the State of J&K by conquering Ladakh and Baltistan and taking the boundaries of Jammu Raj upto Afghanistan and Russia.
