JAMMU, June 19: A deputation of BJP led by its senior leader, Sat Sharma today met PDD Chief Engineer, Gurmeet Singh and submitted him a memorandum demanding installation of new transformers in Ward number 24 and 29 and bifurcation the load so that a stable voltage can be provided to households in these Wards.
BJP District President Jammu West, Munish Khajuria, District General Secretaries, Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma, Mahila Morcha, General Secretary, Urvashi Gupta and some people of Ward number 24 and 29 were also present in the deputation.
The deputation apprised the Chief Engineer of the problems being faced by residents of these Wards.
The Chief Engineer gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that the problems will be resolved as soon as possible.
Executive Engineer, Neeraj Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Earlier a deputation of Ward number 24 and 29 people had met Sat Sharma and demanded installation of new transformer of high capacity so that the electricity needs of locals can be catered in both the Wards.
