400th birth anniversary celebrations of Mata Roopbhawani begins

JAMMU, June 15: The year- long 400th birth anniversary (Avir Bhav Diwas) celebrations of Mata Shree Roopbhawani who is said to be the incarnation of Goddess Sharika has started all over J&K and out side the UT where ever her devotees and followers are putting up.
The 400th birth day of Mata which falls on Jesht Shukla Paksh Purnima in 2021 and the 399th Avir Bhav Diwas was celebrated on June 5 this year with reciting of Mata Shrees Vaaks, Vedic Hawan ( in low profile in view of prevailing Covid 19 pandemic), Bhawani Sahastranam Homa, chanting of Vedic Shlokas, Bhajans, Webnars, distribution of ration to labourers, old aged & sick etc, a handout issued by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust Talab Tillo here, today said.
It said this was a unique and unprecedented celebration while maintaining all the advisories of the Government like Social distancing etc,.
Mata Shree Roopbhawani , The Sharika Incarnate, the deity of the Kashmiri Hindus has devotees spread pan India and abroad. Even in the list of devotees are also foreign citizens. Celebration of 400th Avir Bhav is a life time privilege of the present generation who are lucky to have this day in their life span. Accordingly Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust originally from Srinagar now having its office in Mata Shree Roopbhawani Temple Complex,Tirath Nagar, Talab Tilloo, Jammu has prepared a massive plan to celebrate the year as 400th Prakash Utsav year in India and in various countries. For celebration of the 400th Prakash Utsav year a well thought out and planned management structure (400th Prakash Utsav Celebration Committee) has been constituted with the involvement of noted religious and social luminaries like Dr. Sushil Wattal and Kuldeep Dhar.
On June 14 at dusk, Mata Shree Roopbhawani’s blessings were invoked in India and in various countries by lighting the earthen lamp in homes to mark the beginning of the Prakash Utsav.
Needless to mention again, the Mata Shree Roopbhawani had meditated at Cheshmasahibi, Wutshan, Manigam, Laar and Waskur. Thousands of devotees across the globe greeted each other throughout the night for invoking blessings of Mata Alkeshwari for the celebration of the year and prayed that the year ahead may be Pandemic free. C.M.Dhar, president, of the Trust, complimented the devotees for seeking Mata Shree’s blessings to get rid of Covid -19 pandemic and celebration of the year ahead (400th year of Avtaar). He further appealed the Government and the devotees for their support and cooperation.
