SAMBA, June 13: The residents of village Sumb today staged strong protest demonstration against the administration over the failure of Government demanding speeding up the construction of road.
People have to face lot of problems to reach the town. The local people expressed their anger and grave resentment against the Government for delaying the construction of road.
A large number of people of village Dhaki Porna and Blater assembled in the village and raised slogans against the district administration Samba. They alleged that, the work of the road was started 18 to 20 years ago but till date it has not been completed. After that no one has taken pains to restore this road till today. The villagers have to face problems due to the far flung area and broken roads. Till now the problem of these people has not been solved.
They said many times they knocked the doors of the administration too, but no one took pains to solve the issue till date. The villagers have urged the Government that this problem should be resolved soon.
Among others present included Dev Sharma, Kaka Ram, Darshan Lal, Kamal Sharma, Shippu, Ashu Devi Jyoti, Sandhu and Devi.
