JAMMU, Apr 10: A delegation of Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association led by its president P S Jamwal met Director, Economics & Statistics and deliberated upon various pending issues and demands of Planning and Statistical cadre.
The delegation demanded promotion of Assistant Directors to Deputy Directors, Deputy Directors to Joint Directors, Statistical Assistants to Statistical Officers, Junior Statistical Assistants to Statistical Assistants, Creation of Welfare Fund, Vigilance clearance of Statistical Officers and regularization of the eligible Daily wagers etc.
Mr B R Lachotra gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that their genuine demands will be fulfilled without any delay.
