JAMMU, Apr 24: Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha (PVS) has demanded compensation for the artisans and casual workers as they have suffered a lot due to the ongoing lockdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a handout Shashi Verma, PVS president said carpenters, masons, unskilled labour etc are badly affected due to lockdown as their technical work has come to a grinding halt pushing them to starvation.
He said that the Government should immediately release a compensation package for this working class in the unorganized sector so that they can be saved from starvation.
