JAMMU, Apr 21: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir today accorded sanction for the placement of two Section Officers of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as Under Secretaries and consequent upon these promotions, transfers and postings of the duo along with another Under Secretary were also ordered.
Firdous Jan and Mohammad Abdullah Waggay, on their promotion as Under Secretary, have been and posted in the Finance Department and Health & Medical Education Department, respectively.
Ghulam Rasool Mir, Under Secretary in the Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer, JKPDC, on extra cadre basis, against an available vacancy.
Meanwhile, according to another order, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Hospitality & Protocol, J&K, has been assigned the Drawing and Disbursing powers of Toshakhana Organization.
