UDHAMPUR, Apr 18: An elderly man, missing for the last four days, was today found dead in Ujh river at Basantgarh, here today.
According to the reports, the body of Bodh Raj (65), son of Anant Ram of village Dandi Chakal, was spotted this morning in river by some locals, who informed the police.
On being informed, a Police team from Basantgarh reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of PHC Basantgarh. As per the family members, the deceased was missing since April 14.
Police has initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC and further investigations in this regard are going on.
