AIMCCC discusses steps taken by Relief Deptt in solving migrants’ issues

JAMMU, Apr 16: All India Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) president, Desh Rattan while discussing the problems of migrants living in camp and non camp areas with other members of his organization through video conferencing expressed their satisfaction over the steps taken by the Relief organisation in solving the problems of displaced people especially those living in camps despite the ongoing lockdown.
The meeting said that in view of lockdown and delay in preparation of new ration cards the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner issued immediate orders to all zonal officers and camp commandants to issue the ration on old ration books for the months of April and May 2020 so that migrants are not put to inconvenience.
Desh Rattan also warned some self styled leaders of doing politics on the name of migrants just to remain in the news. He said Relief organisation has taken many measures in solving the problems of displaced people especially those living in camps.
