SRINAGAR: Seven residential houses were damaged in a fire in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, official sources said on Friday.
They said fire broke out in a residential house in Noorabad, Kulgam late on Thursday night. ”Fire tenders were rushed to douse off the flames that were clearly visible from a distance,” they further said.
However, they stated that before the fire was brought under control, the flames engulfed several other residential houses. ”Seven houses were damaged in the fire,” declared the source, adding that no one was injured in the incident.
They further said the cause of the fire was not immediately clear. ”A case has been registered and investigations are on to ascertain the cause of the fire,” they added. (AGENCIES)
