RAJOURI, Mar 5: Three persons were injured in a car accident near Chingus on Jammu-Rajouri highway today.
A police spokesman said that IGNIS car, bearing registration number JK02CH-1180 which was on way to Jammu from Rajouri side slipped due to rain and fell in to a gorge near Chingus this morning. All the three persons on board including 10-year-old child were seriously injured. They were shifted to District Hospital Rajouri and then referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
The victims are identified as Zafar Ahmed Mir (45) from Mandi in Poonch, Wasim Akram (10), son of Mohd Akram and Mohd Shafi (80) from Mandi. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
