JAMMU, Mar 4: In the much publicized PIL regarding eviction of 127 encroachers from forest land in Poonch, Division Bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Rajesh Bindal has granted time for filing status report regarding details of retrieved land.
When the PIL came up for hearing, Government Advocate Aijaz Lone appearing for the respondents sought time for filing status report regarding land retrieved from the encroachers. Accordingly, DB granted time and directed the Registry to list the PIL along with another PIL No.25/2017.
