Rahul’s Devotional Audio Song launched

Rahul along with dignitaries during the launch of his Devotional Audio Song in Jammu on Saturday.

JAMMU, Feb 29: To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in association with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education launched a Devotional Audio Song “Aaja Maa Aaja” of Rahul Raina, renowned singer in Punjabi Language at open air Theatre, Durga Bhawan, here today.
The music for Rahul’s songs have been composed by Rohit Sidhu, while HS Billa (HS Records-Punjab) is the Director & Producer and the Lyrics has been composed by Yash Pal Yash.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest, Yash Pal Yash, Senior Writer & Music Composer, while ML Dogra, Former Regional Director, Song & Drama Division, Ministry of I&B, Government of India presided over the function.
VK Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr Anju Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital and Zulekha Farid, Renowned Awardee Singer of J&K were the guests of honour.
The artists of BLSKS and STAP also presented 302th Saturday Series Musical Play “Meri Mai Di Lal Chunnia”.
MC Kotwal, Genral Secretary BLSKS, while speaking on the occasion said that the songs and ‘gazals’ play very significant role in popularizing the language and poetry.
ML Dogra in his speech appreciated the dedication and sprit of Rahul Raina for bringing out the video.
Usha Handoo, Troupe leader, STAP also spoke on the occasion.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who performed in the musical play were Kuldeep Raj, Kanchan, Mahi, Azen Ali Haidry, Mohd Afroz Raaz, Ram Ji, Parth, Dr. Naresh Ji, Deevam Jandiyal, Sapna devi, Sakshi Kumari, Sumeta Bhat, Bindia Arora, Megha Raina, Sanvi Raina, Vansh Raina, Tilak Raj and Druv Pandit.
