JAMMU, Feb 4: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive farewell to Dr M P Sharma (Professor, Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry) and Dr TAS Ganai, Director Education SKUAST-J on their superannuation.
Speaking on the occasion, VC SKUAST-J Dr KS Risam lauded the contributions of Dr Sharma in teaching, research and extension and wished him a very healthy post-retired life. President Teaching Association Dr Vikas Sharma also wished Dr Sharma a prosperous life after retirement. The advisors/office bearers of teaching association – Dr RK Samnotra, Dr Susheel Sharma, Dr Anil Bhatt, Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr PK Rai and Dr Jai Kapoor, also wished him luck.
Besides, all the HoDs and faculty members, the function was attended by Dr RK Gupta (Director Research), Dr JP Sharma (Associate Director Research), Dr DP Abrol (Dean Agriculture), Dr SEH Rizvi (Dean Basic Sciences), general secretary, Non Teaching, Zammer-ul-Haq and student representative, Divansh Verma.
