JAMMU, Jan 28: In a conference here today Jammu-Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation (GEWF) has demanded restoration of old pension scheme to the Government employees.
The conference was held under the leadership of S. Kulwant Singh, President of the Federation wherein resolution of extending and implementing full trade union rights in all the departments was passed.
Other resolutions passed in the conference were setting afoot all vigorous and sincere efforts to eradicate corruption at all levels and ending adhocism, inchargism and contractualism and making appointments on regular basis.
