JAMMU, Jan 15: A man was found dead today in a car parked in Digiana area of Jammu city.
According to a police official, some passersby spotted a man lying in unconscious condition in a Maruti 800 car bearing registration number JK02AP-2482 near Digiana Pulli and informed Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
He said on getting car information, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the man namely Gurdeep Singh (33) son of late Mukhtayar Singh, resident of Jeevan Nagar, to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and further investigation started,” the official said, adding in preliminary investigation, it came to fore that the car in which the deceased was found belong to him.
