JAMMU, Jan 9: A deputation of Plus-2 Principal Forum met Commissioner Secretary School Education here under the leadership of its president Ram Parkash and demanded regularisation of In-charge principals.
The president pleaded that the principal cadre has not been regularised since 2008 whereas some of the cadre has expired, some retired and majority of them are going to retire without regularisation.
Ram Parkash further pleaded that they were appointed as lecturer and after serving the department from 20-22 years as In-charge principal from a grade pay scale of 5400 to 5600 with no benefit of earned leave while 90 percent of the cadre got superannuation as principal only.
The commissioner Secretary gave patient hearing and was astonished to know about that principals are yet not regularised since 2008. He assured that regularisation would be done at the earliest in the light of SAC order no. 114-15 dated 19-01-2019.
The principals who were present in the delegation included S K Pandita, Subash Sharma, Sadeeq Ganai, Om Parkash Katoch, Govind Ram and many others.
