JAMMU, Dec 16: A clash like situation erupted on Jammu University campus when a group of NSUI affiliated students was confronted by ABVP activists over the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act and Police lathicharge on Jamia Milia Islamia University students.
The trouble erupted when NSUI activists assembled near the Central Library and started protesting against Police action at Jamia Milia University. They raised slogans against the Central Government and Citizenship Amendment Act.
Soon some ABVP activists also reached the spot and confronted the protesting NSUI activists accusing the later of trying to exploit the students. The stand off continued for some time even as there was no clash between the students.
