This bears reference to the news report ‘over 1400 posts of 10+2 lecturers, 31 Principals vacant ‘DE Feb 27, wherein it is clearly mentioned that over 1400 plus posts of +2 lecturers and 31 Principals are lying vacant for a pretty long time.
In response to this the Principal Secretary to Government J&K School Education FA Factoo has disclosed that these posts have been referred to PSC and the orders for the rest of posts will be issued through DPC within a fortnight’s time.
Now the fortnight’s time is over and it is very surprising that not a single post has been filled up till date and the students continue to suffer for no fault of theirs. Hope the Deputy Chief Minister who holds the Education portfolio will kindly look into the matter and direct Commissioner-cum-Secretary school education to fill up these lecturer posts in all the subjects across the State in the best interests of the students.
