SAMBA, Nov 13: As a goodwill gesture and to carry forward her mission of helping poor and needy, Sarpanch Panchayat, Dhamore, block Vijaypur, Shilpa Dubey handed over a cheque of Rs 20,000 from her own account to a poor and helpless family of her Panchayat, Ward 9 for installation of a hand pump in his house.
The poor family headed by Kehar Singh complimented the Sarpanch Shilpa Dubey. Discussing with the locals who were present on the occasion, Shilpa Dubey said “I have the motive to help every weaker, deserving as well as poor families and also help to uplift every weaker section of the Panchayat without caste, creed and colour”.
Among others who were present during the event included Panchs Ajit Singh, Sharda Devi, Fazal Karim, Varinder Singh, Javed Hussain, Dalbir Singh and social activist Chander Shekhar Sharma.
