JAMMU, Oct 4: Gangyal police foiled murder plot with the arrested of a criminal along with country made pistol and live cartridge.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia under the supervision of SP South Vinay Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered a country made pistol and live cartridge from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Manish Kumar alias Kaka, son of late Rattan Lal of Nanak Nagar District Jammu. With his arrest, police team foiled murder bid.
A case under FIR Number 106/19 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
