JAMMU, Oct 1: Gandhi Nagar police arrested two notorious criminal along with country made pistol, live cartridges and two sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, a police team was constituted to work out the case registered under FIR Number 224/19 under Section 147, 148, 341 and 323 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Gandhi Nagar on the complaint of Ramandeep Singh, son of Amrik Singh of Digiana Ashram on August 20, 2019.
The team headed by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Gurnam Singh Choudhary rounded up a number of suspects and leads were developed. Based on leads, police team arrested two persons identified as Bikramjeet Singh alias Vicky, son of Mohan Singh and Paramjeet Singh alias Pankaj alias Murga, son of Harnam Singh R/o Seora, Jammu, Sehore, District Jammu, who during questioning admitted their involvement in the aforesaid case.
On their disclosure, one country made pistol (desi kata), 4 live cartridges and two sharp edge weapons (toka) were recovered from their possession.
It is pertinent to mention here that Paramjeet Singh alias Pankaj alias Murga was also involved in a case registered under FIR Number 156/19 with Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
